Here is my third and final project: Making our houses presentable. We imported our previous projects into Autodesk VIZ, a powerful 3d graphics program, where we added material texture maps, lighting, and backgrounds to our projects, and we made photorealistic renderings of our houses: 2 still images- 1 aerial and one eye level, and 2 video- 1 10 second fly-around and 1 30 second walkthrough. It really surprised me that 30 seconds of 320 x 240 video would take 12+ hours to render, and that was after simplifying the shadows and advanced lighting calculations. After all was said and done, though, I can gladly say I learned a lot from all this work, and I thank God for giving me the strength and energy to do it.
